Dance Basics supports Mano Amiga
October 18, 2010We at Dance Basics are extending our love of dance and have offered our time to teach ballet to Mano Amiga Academy, a school for under-privileged children run by Mano Amiga Pilipinas (manoamigapilipinas.blogspot.com), an organization composed of volunteers with a mission of providing education and development services tailored to the needs of the Filipino community.
The kids had their first class last October 16, 2010. Attending twice a month and just after 5 sessions, they performed the opening act of the recent school play of Everest Academy. It was their very first time to perform ballet and they all did a great job!
We’ll be organizing fund-raising drives so they can get their own ballet shoes, tights, and proper equipment soon. We hope you can help us.

Our girls performed “Annie Medley” and “Theme from Lion King” at the Expo Kid event last March 6 in Rockwell Tent. They all had fun putting on a show for the eager crowd.

Classes and Tuition Fees
February 7, 2007– CLASSES -
For Pre-ballet we usually accept students ages 3 to 4 years old but we also had students as young as 2.5 years old who have even participated in the Recital. It all depends on the child’s attentiveness. For Baby Ballet, our goal is for children to experience the joy of dance. Simple ballet steps and creative movement are taught to improve coordination.
For Children’s Ballet (usually 5 to 7 years old), the child begins to develop skill. Emphasis is put on good posture, listening and coordination.
For Ballets I, II, III and Advanced (usually 8 years old and above), technique is built. Students are challenged with increased complexity as they advance through higher levels.
* note: You can bring your child to our class (Saturdays 1:00pm to 5:00pm) to observe.

Php 1,400 for 4 lessons (consumable)
Php 3,600 for 12 lessons (consumable) – save 600 pesos!
